Inaugural general meeting date announced

We are pleased to confirm that the first General Meeting for members and invited guests of the UK Fire Association will take place near Leeds on THURSDAY 9 JULY 2009.   Members are entitled to two free places at this our first meeting where refreshments and a two course restaurant lunch will be provided.  The agenda will be circulated to members and invited guests during June so put the date in your diary now.  Places are limited but members can make a reservation now by emailing the secretary@uk-fa.org

The aim of this meeting is to provide an opportunity to debate the Steering Groups plans for the Association and allow members to socialise, network and hopefully encourage trade between one another.  We are seeking a variety of topical guest speakers to give attendees the very latest industry information and ideas to help maintain business growth in these challenging times.

We appreciate that this location will not be ideal for everyone however this is fairly central allowing members from more remote parts of the Country to attend.  We aim to make the journey worthwhile as you will be sure to bump into some of the fire industry stalwarts, perhaps refresh old acquaintances and have the opportunity to make new friends and build business relationships.

If you are a member and have anything that you would like to be included in the Agenda send your comments, ideas and suggestions to the secretary@uk-fa.org.  Members are also invited to display their products and services on the free exhibition tables.

If you are not already a member – it is not too late to join.  We invite you to get involved with a friendly and dynamic association that listens to its members.  Join online now, visit www.uk-fa.org – for just £200 what have you got to lose?

Secretary
