Introducing the UK Fire Association ‘super’ Refresher Course

Not only is the cost of UK Fire Association membership being kept at only £200 (with no VAT and additional joining fee) we are now slashing the cost to members for just two very special ‘super’ scheduled extinguisher technician refresher (BAFE and FIA accepted*) training days at only £99 + VAT.

As the introduction of BS5306 part 3:2009 has been delayed we feel that it is a great opportunity for our members to save money and time by attending one of our two scheduled ‘super’ refresher courses being hosted by Alan Palmer.

7 May SWINDON
Reservations closing date – Friday 24 April

21 May DERBY
Reservations closing date – Friday 8 May

Now is the time to get refreshed before the introduction of a formal BAFE exam is required with the inevitable rise in cost and proposed longer course duration after the introduction of BS5306 part 3:2009.

This £99 + VAT offer is only available to UK Fire Association members at these two course dates only – non members are welcome at the still very competitive rate of £130 + VAT.  Places are limited on a first come basis - so book early to avoid disappointment.

The course will run subject to sufficient demand.

This is an example of where we have listened – and promptly acted!  Since starting in February we have grown to have close to 60 members.  If you are not already a member – what are you waiting for?  Go to www.uk-fa.org and join online – at a time to suit you!

*IMPORTANT— The UK Fire Association Refresher course is still not recognised by the British Fire Consortium although BAFE and FIA both accept refresher courses run by Alan Palmer.   This directive does not apply to BFC members that have ISO 9001 accreditation and are independently assessed. If you are in any doubt contact Alan Palmer on 01932 252306 for clarification before booking on the UK Fire Association refresher course.

Keep sending us your comments, ideas and suggestions to the secretary@uk-fa.org.  We also need to have details of services members have to offer other members.

Alan Palmer
Secretary
