EMBLEM - Terms and conditions of use

Before downloading the UK FA emblem, please read the terms and conditions of use below.
Use the link at the bottom of the page to download a zip file containing different version of the UK FA Logo.

1. OWNERSHIP

The UK Fire Association emblem (logo) is copyright property of the UKFA and may be used by Members and Affiliate members only. We reserve the right to change or modify the emblem and to amend this Agreement at any time at our discretion and without notice. You will only use the most current versions of the emblem as notified to you from time to time.

2. USE

The emblem may be used on Members vehicles, stationery and appropriate marketing materials to indicate membership of the UKFA. It must be displayed in its original, unmodified form and in its entirety (e.g. must not be altered in any manner, including proportions, colours, elements, etc., or animated, morphed, or otherwise distorted in perspective or dimensional appearance) unless permission has previously been given in writing by the Secretary.

You will not use the emblem in any way that would reduce or diminish the reputation, image and/or prestige of the emblem and/or the UKFA.

Manufacturers or distributors are not permitted to use the emblem on equipment they make, import and supply as this could be misconstrued as being an indication of approval or acceptance of conformity of these products by the UKFA.

Service companies can use the emblem on extinguisher maintenance labels provided that the technician signing the label is appropriately qualified. It must not be used in any manner that expresses or might imply the UKFA’s affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, or approval.

You may not use the emblem in any way other than as expressly permitted by this Agreement. Any other use will be treated as a breach of this Agreement unless specific written approval is obtained from the Secretary in advance.

3. RESIGNING AND LAPSED MEMBERS

Members resigning from the UKFA, for any reason, will be given three months grace to use up their printed stationery. This period may at the discretion of the Steering Group be extended or reduced.

An application for extension must be submitted in writing and received by the Secretary within the first two months during the period of grace allowed. After this time ex-Members still using the emblem will be liable to prosecution except in the case of maintenance labels and documentation issued before or during the period of grace.

Labels previously applied to fire equipment and bearing the UKFA emblem are required to have been removed within 13 months from the date of the Members resignation - if the customer’s fire equipment is still being serviced by the ex-Member.

4. TERMINATED MEMBERSHIP

Upon the Steering Group terminating a membership, the Member shall with immediate effect no longer use the UKFA emblem on their vehicles, documentation, maintenance labels, etc.

Labels previously applied to fire equipment and maintenance reports and certificates previously issued bearing the UKFA emblem are required to have been removed within 13 months from the month membership was terminated - if the customer’s fire equipment is still being serviced by the ex-Member.

I accept the terms of use and wish to download the UKFA emblem.
